こちらは山口県の瀬戸内海に面した小さな町の山の中にある、浄土真宗（単立）のお寺です。
宗派色はわりあい薄めで、宗派よりも「仏教のお寺」という、考えてみれば当たり前のスタンスで活動しております。

Welcome to Seikyoji Temple!
This is an independent Jodo-shinshu Buddhist temple.
Founded by Shinran (1172-1262), Jodo-shinshu is based on the Mahayana tradition. But, chief priest Akira and his wife
Ryuko, also a priest, are deeply interested in Theravada tradition which directly comes from the Buddha Sakyamuni.
Akira is eager to re-connect the essence of Jodo-shinshu to the origin of Buddhism.
Ven. Alubomulle Sumanasara kindly visits Seikyoji temple four times a year (staying about 5 to 6 days each time). He
preaches sermons, teaches Pali canons and trains vipassana meditation. Please check the temple calendar or ask Seikyoji for his schedule.
